Furthering your education can benefit you in multiple ways. It can teach you how to budget your money, grow self-discipline, and most importantly increase your salary. Sadly in most cases, coming up with the funds to pay for your education and better your future can be really challenging and sometimes discouraging especially because of those harsh student loans that can be stuck with you for the rest of your life. Well here at Financially Free Students, I’m going to help the everyday broke college student find their way to financial freedom online with affiliate marketing.
A LITTLE BACKSTORY
Going to college to further my education was basically wired into my brain. I was always told to get good grades as I was growing up so I can graduate from high school and go to college. But as life went on, I realized that it may not be that simple. Of course, I graduated and got my diploma, but it didn’t help that I wasn’t taking school as serious as expected and barely made it out. It felt good to get that diploma and make everyone that was counting on me proud. Unfortunately I wasn’t proud of myself.
I knew for a fact that I would have to go to a community college and transfer to a 4-year university if I wanted to further my education and that was definitely not in my plans after graduating. I also knew that college was very expensive and it was almost inevitable that I would have to get a loan to even afford it. With that being said, knowing people in my life that are way older than I am that are still paying for student loans as we speak and not happy with their position in life made me take an even harder route. 2 months after graduating, I ended up getting my first job at Wendy’s and decided that I was going to pay for school out-of-pocket.
Making minimum wage at Wendy’s, trying to pay for my classes, and paying to get around since I didn’t have a car made life very difficult for me. I never had money for myself and get couldn’t really do anything. I was then forced to make a decision. It was either I continue what I was doing or stop going to work full-time and save up money so I can pay for the expenses. I tried the second option and it didn’t work out the way I wanted it to all.
It felt like my back was against the wall and I had nowhere to go. Working for Wendy’s for 2 years really made me feel like I was trapped and that I was really settling for less. I eventually had enough which led to me going on a serious job hunt. As I was applying, the best thing had happened to me. I discovered affiliate marketing! I’ve always wanted to get into the marketing business, but never knew of this type of marketing. Eager to start, I got scammed a couple of times and eventually lost hope for this not working as well, until I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate. Now my goal to become financially free is not just a dream or thought anymore.
Wealthy Affiliate has everything you possibly need to start up your own business will easily convince you that your dream of becoming an entrepreneur can indeed turn into a reality.
WHY I WANT TO HELP
With me trying to further my education and personally knowing a handful of broke college students trying their best to strive for success, it’s only right to help them and even the students I haven’t met before. I know first hand what it’s like to either to have a job while going to school or having your parents/family members send you money when you need it the most. I personally don’t like the fact that I would have to work hard and concentrate on my school work. Certainly don’t like depending on others to get by, I would rather get it on my own.
It’s okay to struggle while trying to get your life together. But it doesn’t have to be that way if you don’t want it to. I know for a fact there are big dreamers just like myself who want to be more than just a broke college student that gets their degree and can’t even find a job within their field. I won’t wait around for it to happen and neither should you!
